D.I.Y. Geometric Notebook

I'm back with a DIY project - a school related one at that point!

Many of you probably have gone back to school, but it's never too late to have cute school supplies right? I'm a sucker for a good geometric print and when I couldn't find any school supplies that I liked at a reasonable price, I decided to make my own.

Materials

  • colored construction paper
  • Mod Podge
  • sponge brush
  • notebook
  • scissors
  • pencil
Steps
  1. Cut out a hexagon that will be used as your stencil (make sure the material is sturdy enough - I used an old postcard)
  2. Using this stencil, go to town! Draw a bunch of hexagon on your colored construction paper
  3. Cut out your hexagons (this step and the previous ones are slightly tedious, but there is a hexagon punch available)
  4. Organize the hexagons however you want
  5. Using Mod Podge, it's time to glue them onto your paper
  6. Add a layer of Mod Podge over the top to seal
  7. Glue your sheet to the cover of your notebook and cut off the overhanging edges
...and you're done! Get ready to school all your classes with your stylish notebooks!
